Take a bus to an old town with a small number of citizens and you have the opportunity to discover it in some hours. It took me just ~ 10 000 steps for this mini trip.
I saw in Calarasi some parks with monuments. Overall, something usual, like in all towns. There were historical buildings, a church, stadium and of course, monuments.
Stadium of Calarasi
Monument of Steven the Great
But if to take a look closer at the nature, you will manage to find astonishing things. In order to find the gifts of nature, I had to turn myself into an insect. This is what I did in a park of Calarasi.
So, I walked on the grass near trees and caught beautiful macros of nature. But be aware of dirt and 💩. I literally stepped on poop when I was focused on photographing green moss in macro. What to say, sacrifice in the name of beauty!
By the way, do not forget to hang your ”mărțișor” on a tree at the end of this month and make a wish! If you do not know about this tradition, go to my previous post about 1 March - people are mad about Mărțișor.
It seems someone from Calarasi wished a Mercedes too early!
It seemed nothing unusual until I looked at things from another angle and a bit closer with help of my camera and huge lens! My advice is never get fooled and take only the essence of things, even while you are traveling.
P.S. Squirells welcome tourists in Calarasi town. So, take some nuts and enjoy the fluffy atmosphere!
